Two suspected gang members nabbed in Nakuru West police operation

Police officers based at Rhonda police station in Nakuru West have arrested two notorious “confirm” gang members, ending their streak of violence in the area.

Acting on a tip-off, the officers launched a targeted operation, arresting the duo, John Omondi, aka Daddy and Samuel Kamau, aka Pino red-handed terrorizing and robbing innocent members of the public.

The suspects, who had evaded arrest for a long time, were neutralized and handcuffed before they could escape.

Preliminary investigations link the two suspects to the “Confirm” gang, a criminal syndicate accused of terrorizing residents of Nakuru West.

Beyond the recent robbery, Daddy and Pino are primary suspects in a string of crimes, including: Murder and Robbery with Violence.

The two have now joined their accomplice, James Nduati, also known as “Jemu,” who was already being held in police custody.

Authorities said the three suspects are currently being processed as detectives build a strong case ahead of their court appearance.

“These arrests reaffirm the National Police Service’s commitment to dismantling criminal syndicates across the country through intelligence-led operations,” authorities said in a statement.
