KNEC releases performance reports for KPSEA and KILEA learners

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced the release of Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and Kenya Intermediate Level Education Assessment (KILEA) performance reports.

In a public notice issued on Tuesday January 13, 2026, KNEC informed parents whose children sat for KPSEA and KILEA examinations to visit KNEC 2025 KPSEA portal to access the performance reports.

Once logged in, they will be required to enter the candidate’s Assessment Number and at least one name.

The parents will then be required to accept the privacy and access notice, then move to search for the reports. KNEC further sated that KILEA candidates can get the reports from their respective schools.

“The 2025 KPSEA and KILEA performance reports are ready for access by schools and candidates,” KNEC stated.

“Congratulations to all the candidates! KNEC is committed to Quality Educational Assessment and Credible Certification,” it added.

The council also noted that schools can access the individual learner performance reports on the CBA portal.

KPSEA and KILEA exams for 2025 were held concurrently from October 27 to October 30, 2025, with KILEA extending up to October 31, 2025.

1,298,089 candidates registered to sit for KPSEA exams in 2025 while 1,130,587 sat for KILEA.

KPSEA examinations are meant for Grade 6 learners and is part of the Competency Based Education (CBE), while KILEA targets learners with special needs at the intermediate level.
