Police in Murang’a County have arrested two suspects in connection with a series of burglary and housebreaking incidents following a targeted operation conducted by officers from Ithanga Police Station.

According to authorities, the operation was launched after the police received credible information from members of the public about individuals allegedly linked to recent criminal activities affecting residents in the area.

“Yesterday, police officers from Ithanga Police Station conducted a successful operation targeting suspects linked to a series of burglary and house break-in incidents across Murang’a County,” police said.

Officers moved swiftly and raided the suspects’ homes, where they recovered several stolen items, including mobile phones, assorted electronic devices, and other household goods reported missing from victims within the county.

The recovered property was positively identified by complainants as their belongings. Police said the items have been retained as exhibits to support ongoing investigations and forthcoming court proceedings.
