Luton Town relegated for the second time to league 1.

Luton Town suffers another setback as they are relegated from EPL second tier.

A 5-3 defeated to westbrom in the final day clash of the championship matches confirmed Luton Town”s relegation from Championship in the 2024/25 season.

Town will officially return to league 1 next season, joining Cardiff City and Plymouth Agyle.

Former EPL championship club becomes the fourth to be relegated for two stages from English Premier League to League 1 after Swindon Town, Wolves and Sunderland.

The hatters finished 22nd in the league with 49 points after playing 46 games and as Hull City survives with just goal difference.

Westbrom’s win was orchestrated by goals from Tom Fellows & Callum Styles both scoring two goals while Daryl Dike closed the strike through a header as millenic Alli scored 2 goals and Jordan Clerk netted for Luton but their goals failed to help them survive the relegation.
