Super Metro has introduced a new route to Rongai, marking another step in its expansion across Nairobi and its surrounding areas.

In a statement shared on Monday, March 30, the Sacco confirmed that the service is now operational, although it did not give details about the exact stage location.
“New route alert! Today, Rongai, here we are. Thank you for your continued support,” the company said.
Super Metro operates a fleet of more than 500 buses across several routes in the city. These include Thika, Juja, Roysambu, Westlands, Kikuyu, Kitengela, Ngong, Kabiria, and Kahawa West, among others. Most of its buses pick up and drop off passengers at the Kencom Bus Stop and Bus Station in Nairobi’s CBD.
This is the second route the company has introduced in less than a year. In May 2025, it expanded its services to areas such as Upperhill, KNH, Ngong Road, and Kabiria.
The entry into Rongai is expected to offer commuters more transport options. However, it remains to be seen how passengers will respond, as the area is widely known for its vibrant matatu culture, often associated with higher fares.
