Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has expressed gratitude to Pastor Dorcas Gachagua after receiving prayers from her, saying the encounter left him spiritually refreshed and strengthened.

In a statement shared on his social media platforms on Wednesday, Salasya said he believes there is divine authority in prayers offered by God’s anointed servants, especially when done in the name of Jesus.
“There is divine authority released when God’s anointed servants lay hands and pray in the name of Jesus. Every time I surrender myself before the men and women God has appointed, my heart is refreshed, my spirit is strengthened, and I experience His peace that surpasses all understanding,” Salasya stated.
“I am reminded of the precious fruits of the Holy Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control,” Salasya said.
Salasya also thanked Pastor Dorcas Gachagua for what he described as her sincere prayers and spiritual guidance.
“My heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Dorcas Rigathi for your sincere prayers and fatherly care in the faith. Truly, the Lord has anointed you for such a time as this,” the MP said.
He prayed for continued blessings upon pastor Dorcas, asking God to grant her greater wisdom, grace and strength in her ministry. Salasya also said he hoped she would continue serving many people through her ministry.
The MP concluded his message by praying that her work in the Lord would continue to bear fruit. He also expressed hope that future generations would remember her for her service and ended by giving glory to God.
“May the oil upon your life never run dry. May God continue to increase your wisdom, grace, and strength, and use you as a vessel of honour for His glory, bringing healing, restoration, and salvation to countless lives,” Salasya said.
