Detectives from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB) in Kilimani have arrested a suspected burglar linked to a series of break-ins in Kileleshwa, Nairobi, and recovered stolen items valued at approximately Sh900,000.

The suspect, Daniel Mosomi Saisi, was apprehended following complaints from two residents of Serengeti Court who reported a break-in at their homes.
According to investigators, the suspect allegedly gained entry into the residences under the cover of darkness and stole various valuables before escaping.
“The suspect, Daniel Mosomi Saisi, found himself on the wrong side of the law after two residents of Serengeti Court in Kileleshwa reported a shocking break-in,” stated DCI.
“Under the cover of darkness, he brazenly infiltrated their homes, leaving chaos in his wake and making off with valuables valued at approximately Sh900, 000.”
Following the report, detectives launched a manhunt that led them to Millennium Apartments along Thiongo Road in Kangemi, where the suspect was arrested.
A search conducted after his arrest led to the recovery of several stolen items, including a gaming console charging system, an iPad 11, a JBL portable speaker, an iPhone 14 Pro Max, PlayStation accessories, and a base-proof light headset. The items were later positively identified by the complainants.
The suspect is currently in custody and undergoing processing ahead of arraignment.
