Detectives from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) and the Transnational Organised Crime Unit (TOCU) have arrested two suspects and recovered a large cache of narcotics during a raid at an auto spare and garage shop in Ruaka, Nairobi County.

According to police, the operation was conducted following intelligence reports linking the premises in the Riverside area to suspected drug-related activities.
Initial searches at the garage reportedly yielded no results, but detectives later uncovered narcotic substances hidden within the compound after conducting a more thorough search.
Among the items recovered were four bales of cannabis sativa wrapped in yellow and green cello tape and concealed inside a blue metallic box.
Officers also recovered 12 blue carrier bags filled with cannabis hidden inside a white bucket, 26 ziplock bags each containing 49 rolls of cannabis, and an additional 20 ziplock bags containing the substance.
Police further seized what investigators described as tools used in packaging and distribution, including a digital weighing scale, an automatic vacuum sealer, assorted packaging materials, and rolling papers.
Authorities said the findings point to a well-organized operation involved in the packaging and distribution of narcotics.
The two suspects, identified as Nasiim Abdallah and Trevas Mungai Okoth, were arrested at the scene and are being held at Muthaiga Police Station pending processing and arraignment.
All recovered items have been retained as exhibits as investigations continue.
