US President Donald Trump has issued a fresh warning to Iran, threatening military action against key infrastructure if Tehran fails to reopen the Strait of Hormuz to global shipping by his stated deadline.

In a strongly worded post shared on Truth Social, Trump warned that failure to comply would trigger severe consequences.
“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it. Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell.Just watch Praise be to Allah,” said president Trump.
Despite the harsh tone, Trump later suggested there was still room for diplomacy, telling Fox News that there was a good chance of reaching an agreement with Tehran.
However, he also indicated he was considering blowing everything up and taking over the oil if talks failed.
Iranian officials dismissed the ultimatum, describing it as helpless nervous and stupid signaling continued resistance amid the ongoing conflict.
The latest developments came after a US fighter jet was shot down over Iranian territory, with both countries launching search operations for the crew.
One serviceman was rescued in a mission deep inside hostile terrain, while the pilot had been recovered earlier.
The conflict, now stretching beyond a month, has seen Iran retaliate against US and Israeli air strikes by targeting allied Gulf nations.
At the same time, disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz have raised global concerns, as the route handles a significant share of the world’s oil and gas supply.
The ongoing blockage has already driven up oil prices and heightened fears of rising inflation worldwide, putting additional pressure on global markets.
