Real Madrid’s Coach Carlo Ancelotti has hit back at La Liga Officials for a strict and tight match schedule as his team looked exhausted after playing 90 minutes against Villarreal on Saturday 15 shortly after playing 120 minutes against Atletico Madrid- in the EUEFA Champions League.

Ancelotti said that despite their plea to the officials to reschedule the game to Sunday March 16, The officials insisted on playing the match leading the team to exhaustion.

“We’ve asked La Liga to change the time of the game twice. But then nothing… and that’s really unacceptable,” He said.

He claimed that he would not put his team in such danger again and if such schedule repeats itself, the team will boycott for their own safety.

“This is the last time we played a game without 72 hours of rest.We will not show up and not play if it happens again, for sure,” he added.

According to Kylian Mbappe,their urge to fight for the badge pushed them through claim their victory.

“We were tired, but we had to respect the Badge, fight until the end and give everything we had,” he said after the match.
